A tiny arcade
HANK’S GAMES
Pick a game. Grab your torch. Play.
Welcome
A little homemade arcade
Hank’s Games is a small collection of original browser games you can play in seconds — no downloads, no sign-ups, no waiting. Pick one off the shelf above and you’re straight into the game, on a phone, a tablet, or a computer.
They’re made by a dad, Joe, and his son Henry — the arcade is named for him. Joe builds the games; Henry dreams up the ideas, draws the villains, and play-tests every version until it’s actually fun. (The evil scientist in Build & Survive started as one of Henry’s felt-tip drawings.) The goal is always the same: easy to learn, quick to play, fun to beat — rounds last a minute or two, and every game keeps a friendly high-score board so there’s always a time to beat.

Each game has its own page with the story behind it, the controls, the goal, and tips for climbing the leaderboard:
Behind the games
Made with care, tested at the kitchen table
Every game is its own custom-built web page, drawn in a chunky Game Boy Color style so the whole arcade feels like one place. We keep the play sessions short on purpose, design the controls for small hands first, and tune the difficulty the old-fashioned way — by handing the phone to a kid and watching what happens.
Curious how a notebook doodle becomes a boss fight, or how the shared leaderboard works without collecting anything personal? It’s all in How the games are made. There’s also more about the arcade and, for grown-ups, a parents’ guide.
